Thanks to Dr. Arvinen, the Gambian community in Wisconsin (USA), Speedo Midwest (USA), and some stores in Wisconsin

Dr. Monna Arvinen-Barrow, mother of our athlete Aminata Nia-Maria Barrow, with the support of Speedo Midwest, Gambians from Wisconsin (USA), and discounts at local Wisconsin swimwear stores, secured the following for the Gambian delegate in Fukuoka, Japan: t-shirts, jackets, pants, swimwear, goggles, and bags.

The Gambian Swimming Association is indebted to and grateful to Dr. Arvinen for her tireless efforts to ensure that Gambia had all the equipment and sportswear needed for the 2023 World Swimming Championships.

We also extend our sincerest thanks to the Gambian community in Wisconsin for their donations to secure the necessary materials for the competition. We also greatly appreciate Speedo Midwest's support in providing athletes with world-class professional swimming caps and other equipment. Finally, we would like to thank all the swimwear stores in Wisconsin that directly or indirectly support the association by giving us discounts on their store-bought products.
