Six Gambia Swimming & Aquatic Sports Association officials completed a level one three-day World Aquatics Swimming Development Webinar for Technical Officials. The webinar was held from the 18th – 20th September 2023. The purpose of the course was to achieve the following objectives:
- enlarge the number of swimming officials and enhance the quality of the existing ones.
- create a uniform pattern of interpretation and application of swimming rules, thus raising the quality of officiating.
- use the course as an instrument to develop and promote swimming worldwide.
